Sprang

For J, who was asking and anyone else who doesn’t know about sprang. It’s on my to do list…

This hairnet/cap photo was taken from Regia Anglorum. They have some super cool stuff – go and check them out.

 

Sprang is a form of off-loom weaving, I suppose. It’s totally primitive and involves plaiting and twining yarn to make a piece of fabric. I would love to learn it as the idea of making things with the least amount of tools appeals to me.
